One of the jokes in this movie that I think Magy & Laura are too young to get is that Dr. Evil divides his henchmen on the moon into Moon Unit Alpha and Moon Unit Zappa. Moon Unit Zappa, of course, is the name of legendary songwriter/guitarist Frank Zappa's daughter, whose vocals on the Frank Zappa song Valley Girl popularized the so-called valley girl accent and culture across America in the 80s (even though the song was meant as satire and as a criticism of the culture).
