I've seen armegeddon requested a lot and interstellar. It's definitely on their radar so I wouldn't worry! Excited for both! It was awesome to see them finally get to the martian.

" Next time you can go with something like "nice reaction, would love to see you react to Armageddon in the future" The movies are not related in any way, shape or form besides the "space" theme. Everything else is different.

2024-09-25 02:02:45 +0000 UTCBook to movie adaptations are often disappointing, but this is a very good one IMO. The book is fantastic, and the movie is fantastic. Sure, they changed some things, but overall I think the movie did a great job of capturing what made the book so engaging.

The fun fact about the book. The writer of the Martian Andy Weir, is not a scientist by profession. He is a software engineer with a strong personal interest in space, physics, and engineering. He meticulously researched the science for The Martian, ensuring the story was grounded in real physics, chemistry, and space exploration concepts. His attention to scientific detail helped make the book popular among both scientists and general readers. Interestingly enough, every problem he came up with was eventually solvable which led to the recuse of Mark Wattney. Something like this could actually be achieved in real life. With some adjustments to some physics inaccuracies portrayed in the book and movie.
