Laura saying "NO No!" at the end. I totally agree.

Completely Unrelated but I think theyd like the movie A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints

I see, thanks for the clarification 😢 That might be true of the ‘1917’ reaction as well as I could have sworn I saw the edit on YouTube once and it’s disappeared where I am, least that’s still up on here 😅

I am pretty sure it was a copyright problem and that’s why it is no longer here or on YouTube

Laura - you're right about his metabolism and stuff - but he went under the ice. His metabolism allowed him to survive, but it kept him the same, frozen for all those years until that drill team at the beginning of the movie dug him up and thawed him out in our time.
I love Cap's story - and it'll keep surprising you, don't worry <3
Good spotting as well for Schmidt, his actor (Hugo Weaving) is Elrond in Lord of the Rings as well as Agent Smith.
Good work Magy for holding onto your spoilers too :D

So it was reacted to yet is no longer on Patreon or a follow-up link, shame something went wrong 😫 I know that last part was probably a joke, but on the off chance you were telling the truth I’m sure Magy would appreciate sending the saved file of the reaction to her for reupload, same for if anyone else has it 😎

She did indeed react to Saving Private Ryan, didn't know it had been lost. Lucky I saved it then :P

Hey magy! Do you think you and Laura could watch Selena the movie? Amazing movie!

YES! Hacksaw Ridge! I will say, Schindlers List is on a whole other league of traumatic compared to Hacksaw Ridge. It takes a certain level of guts to watch Schindler's List. As a war movie lover, that film is the only one I will never watch again. I do hope the girls watch Hacksaw just to see the amazing story involved and to se just how dynamic of an actor Andrew Garfield and Hugo Weaving is.

I'm sorry. Basically, it's none of my business what Magy wants to see or not. Maybe I also have a personal problem with war movies. This isn't anyone else's problem and no one is forcing me to watch it.

Often there’ll always be a war going on somewhere in the world sadly. The subject matter may hit close to home but it doesn’t make a movie any less of a classic. Like Schindler’s List, people normally wouldn’t watch a movie about traumatic events yet it’s often visceral lessons needing witnessing to fully contemplate.

I’ve seen rumours that Magy did react to Saving Private Ryan already but the footage was lost. If that’s true and she enjoyed it, perhaps Laura would be interested too so we could see Magy’s reaction again 😭 Band of Brothers is 10 episodes but similar type of warfare, great recommendation!

Agreed, I mean his performance in Hacksaw Ridge is Oscar Worthy, grounded in reality and so guttural and real.

I feel he gets to show a better acting range there than he does as Red Skull, a constant MCU villain problem to be fair.

Ah, Captain America. Gotta love him. Here is my reminder: start watching the DAREDEVIL show after you watch the first AVENGERS movie. People forget about those Marvel shows, but they are so good!
I concur with Mr. Baldamort: you two should start watching some war films. Band of Brothers, Hacksaw Ridge...these are some worthwhile movies to watch. You two haven't really done the war films. You should start...

Chris Evans puts in an amazing performance as Captain America 🤩 He also pops up in Fantastic 4 (2005) with a hilarious character you’ll both enjoy 😂 Hayley Atwell is terrific too as Peggy Carter, hallmarks of a character that has so much potential to be explored as a powerful female character in the MCU!

By the way on how they made Steve skinny is that used CGI , they put Chris Evans head on a small person's body

Steve ability to regenerate fast is what preserved him in the ice that's why he survived and kept his youthful look

That’s a brilliant comparison, showcasing a different type of superhero in war! Andrew Garfield from Amazing Spider-Man puts in a sublime performance in a brutal movie, they both would love the message behind it in finding one’s own heroic strength in leadership on the battlefield 🪖

I like watching this movie and then watch "Hacksaw Ridge" to see the differences between comic book hero and real hero.
