Dying in battle was considered the most prestigious way to end life, as it guaranteed a seat in Valhalla, the enormous hall ruled by Odin. Vikings viewed Odin as their god and believed that if they died in battle they would go to Valhalla. Their souls are then carried to Valhalla by Nordic Valkyries.

2024-09-02 16:57:57 +0000 UTCThor's evolution from war-seeking child to a slightly wiser warrior was a hard lesson. His father had far more experience, like all parents. If they give you advice or tell you what to do or what not to do, it's only to help you and not to do anything bad to you. So did Odin, but Thor didn't understand it at first. Sometimes you have to have this experience to understand what parents wanted to teach their children. As always, a very great reaction from you two ladies! I'm already looking forward to the next ones.
