This just signed the death of Marvel honestly.
After Deadpool there´s nothing left to watch that´s actually good anymore.

There were rumors for quite a while, then they went into talks to get her in the movie, immediately after that the writers strike happened and talks broke down. Natalia Tena is playing the older version of X-23. So the character will be back regardless, but maybe it's just another rumor that Dafne Keen is returning, but I'd think she would considering they did say there are two x-23's in the movie, one older and one younger. This IS "Leaked" info, so it could just be rumor, we will see I suppose.

They can do the MCU whenever they want, it's not needed for Deadpool 2 nor should they have to trudge through dozens of movies for it. There's about 8 references in total regarding the MCU in Deadpool 2.

The Laura return seems to be a rumour at this stage, as the actress has denied she is returning for now…could be a lie but best not to raise one’s expectations and be disappointed if she isn’t present.

Sorry I mean infinity war. not end game. One of the main purposes of the movie is to spoof infinity war (and the biggest joke of the film) and to use the stones, which would make no sense for somebody not familiar with the MCU. Idk, my opinion is, everybody else saw the MCU first to at least infinity war, not sure why we should suggest robbing laura of that experience. Magy would have to sit there trying to hold her tongue not to spoil anything while trying to explain things. I just think it would be fun if she saw the MCU first. She would love it. If magy chooses to watch deadpool 2 first anyway well, then so be it, its her channel. Not the end of the world. These are just suggestions.

I have watched Deadpool 2 recently, literally none of the thanos jokes are spoilers + Deadpool 2 came out before endgame, worst case scenario Laura doesn’t get 1 or 2 jokes lol

For your questions you mentioned at the end, yes Logan is dead this is 100% how his story ends, as for Deadpool 3 it looks like he’s gone back in time and picked up a different universe Wolverine. Some people are all for it, some people think it ruins Logan a little bit but we will see when the movie comes out

Ive mentioned it a couple times over the course of a couple months as a suggestion, not on EVERY post, so no need to get over dramatic about it. Nobody is pressuring magy into anything, but also i could care less about what you think personally, im just here to enjoy reactions and give suggestions :)

No way to get trough all of that for 2-3 jokes, it will get away from the experience even. She said also they can’t catch Deadpool 3 on time so there is no need for pressure over that by commenting it in every video she posts. That will be best for everyone for them to enjoy the journey not to rush it trough.

Magy has stated she taking her through the MCU. I think it would be best for everyone if she got the full experience of it through Endgame.

Not needed, the MCU. Only movies needed before watching Deadpool 2 are Deadpool, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Whatever MCU reference, like the Thanos jokes, don't play that much of an impact.

I saw an interview with Reynolds. He implied that it definitely is a different Logan and that the new movie doesn’t change anything that happened in Logan.

I hope we watch the MCU before deadpool 2 since there are huge infinity war and endgame spoilers in it and Laura might not get most the references not having seen the MCU.

The “official document” is what the director/other people involved in the creation of the movie say.
You’re right, plenty of continuity errors and timelines have been established already, based off the movies they released.

From my understanding the character in Deadpool & Wolverine is going to be the alternate version compared to the one in Logan, he won’t be on the same timeline as any of the X-Men movies and will be completely different. We shall see end of month, if true I’m fine with that as they’re not muddying the ending of Logan and can start with a new variant in a new comic book universe property, a win-win scenario for everyone including Hugh Jackman I believe said something similar.
Your right that the general audience will consider it how they want and I think most would agree with me, as all the Fox movies themselves had continuity issues all over the place and I’ve never seen any offical document from the company saying Logan is in a seperate universe 🤔

The audience should treat it as they want to, each individual.
Actors and directors will always say what they’re being told to, in order to promote their movie.
One of the reasons Hugh Jackman decided to do this movie is because of a healthscare (tumor/growth on his nose). Another is the fact that he wanted to retire from playing the character and this storyline had the “maximum emotional impact” instead of going with the classic “we’ll shelve the character for future use”. Either way, it was specifically said, repeatedly, that this is an alternate universe precisely in order to allow the character to return, played by Hugh Jackman.

I feel such a disconnect if treating this as a ‘What If’ type episode though, no matter what the so-called offical line is. Maybe it’s just me 🤷♂️ Director said it could be a Days of Future Past Wolverine follow-up.
Sure Charles says he’s 90 when he should be 97, but he’s brain’s gone and Logan can’t be stuffed correcting him. The school can still be in operation in DOFP as non-mutants may go there in 2024, some might stay past 18. A deleted scene of Charles saying Logan killed Jean Grey is him getting multiple timelines mixed up, in a joke manner.
These are minor details, the audience should treat this as the exact same person they’d followed for 17 years for maximum emotional impact. Variants of the character can belong with the MCU going forward.

Yes, this was a closure for his story, this was a great and emotional movie.
I have heard rumors that Laura (X-23) will be back with wolverine in deadpool and wolverine, It may just be a cameo though, referencing to this movie. X-23 is a good character that many fans want to see again and the actress said she's more than willing, and hopeful to play the role again.
Can't wait to see your guys reaction to Dark Phoenix. Great reaction guys!
Oh and yes, we will see him again thanks to the TVA, but he'll be a variant like Loki.
(I want to add, I just dug a lot deeper, it's been confirmed that Laura will return but it'll be two verions of her, the one we just seen and another woman playing an older version of her in Deadpool 3)

Hugh Jackman was 49 when he did "Logan".
The character he plays is 197 years old physically but because of the "Days of Future Past" movie, which happens in 2023 in universe, he goes back to 1973, lives to 2029 so he is 247 years old.
The movie is a long "What If...?" episode, taking place in an alternate timeline from the rest of the Marvel/X-Men movies. Similar things happen in the comics regularly, both in DC and Marvel, with some of the most famous ones being "The Death of Superman" or "Superman Allstar". You've seen a version of that with "Batman vs Superman: The Dawn of Justice", where Superman Dies but comes back to life.

In my opinion, rewatching Logan with a understanding that it’s the same character in the timeline makes it all the more sad and emotional. It doesn’t feel same if you have to place it as another Wolverine from an alternate timeline. You feel a bit sad sure but then his death just doesn’t hit the same to me 🥺 Loved the new addition of Laura, glad our one has a character named after her 😂 And also don’t forget, “BEWARE THE LIGHT”! 🤯
