If it were up to me, they would have watched The Hobbit first and then Lord of the Rings second. If there are beginnings, you should take them. You just don't start with something that isn't the beginning. You don't do that.

Especially for Laura, who has never seen the movies. This would be too confusing for her and if they started from episode 1, she would gradually understand everything. Like i said, it makes no sense. And you can still be a Star Wars fan and see the chronological order. Such nonsense who says something like that. Magy never said, that Laura had to watch the movies the way she did. She said, she wanted Laura to watch everything what she watched. That's a Big difference.

Magy already watched them on the channel in release order, it wouldnt make sense for her to change it up for Laura's first experience of the films. Magy wants her to see the films how she did. It would be like watching hobbit before lord of the rings, as a blind first time watching like laura, you just don't do that.

Besides, they'll probably watch all the parts anyway, then they can start with Episode 1, which would be a better start.
