Every Vault in Fallout games was actually created for a more nefarious purpose, but ADVERTISED as "shelters to live until its safe to repopulate the surface" as the people housed inside would be unaware of what experiments they were truly apart of. I assume that goes for Vaults 31, 32, and 33 in the show I imagine. I am watching this show along with you and im fascinated with what this experiment turns out to be. One of the vaults in fallout lore only housed ONE person with a bunch of puppets and the experiment was to see how long they would go before they go insane and kill themselves, and that experiment is tame compared to most others.
