I had some (of course I did). They taste like normal peppers to me, but I don't have a super refined pepper palate. Maybe a little less spicy than a poblano pepper. I had it with chile rellano several times as, ahem, research. And will gladly have some again on my next trip - need to visit chaco canyon.
