April 2nd update (skipping April Foolz...)
Added 2021-04-02 12:48:50 +0000 UTCall,
I've been busting my goblin tush to finish the third Pilgrim book for my research trip to the Southwest for Cowboy Necromancer 2. I really think that Pilgrim 3 really pushes the narrative forward, and I deftly want to get another installment out this year. Originally, it was supposed to be three books, but this series just continues to connect with people and there's so much I can do with it, especially in the way that it is written ( if you've read, you'll understand how - Pilgrim is written in parts that almost operate as short stories).
So there will be more. I don't know how much more, but I am assuming at least five books. Probably more. I will likely try to release Pilgrim twice a year, as it takes me about six months to do the research/plot a single book. Lately, and illustrated in the third Pilgrim book, I've been reading Japanese tales, myths, histories, and ghost stories to come up with additional storylines. I didn't do this in the first two books, but it has really helped with garnering ideas for this series.
So expect more of that, and once you get the third book, be sure to let me know what you think and most importantly, review it!
Gideon Update:
I've started Moonsault! and it is fun. Did someone say intergalactic superpowered bounty hunters who double as professional wrestlers here on earth? No? Well, that's what this book is about. it's not a strange as it sounds. Basically, think Men in Black but the agents are actually aliens as well and one of them came up with the idea of starting a wrestling league so they could tour around the country and cater to intergalactic residents to better track their bounties. The story itself is about one of these wrestlers named Seth Atlas who has a dark lightening ability and is a loose cannon until he's tasked with running the wrestling organization after the founder is mysteriously killed. so there is a mystery element as well, plus a tournament feel because some of the wrestling matches are typed out, which should be really cool in audio.
Anyway, as soon as I have a preview that's readable, I'll post it.
