Devlog #62 - Improvements and Release

Alright, release to $5 supporters is going to be later today if I don't lose power. Storms in this neck of the woods already. This will include the base version of the game (.33) and the upgrade only option .34a. Alternatively you will also be able to download the entire game in one shot. There's been a big change regarding that coming up. More about that below.

Game Code is ALWAYS: LegacyUser#1

I don't change the game code between releases or months or nothing like that. Pirates gunna pirate. Nothing I can do to stop that.

Game Size is a BIG Problem

Alright, the game is big. Just under 6gig and over 6gig with .35 which isn't even done yet. The compressed version of the game was a good step in the right direction. I'm nearly done recompressing ALL images in the game but not losing any noticeable quality. Should drop the entire game down to about 1.5gig for .35. This is much more manageable for upload and download.

New Content

I'm not going to spend time rehashing what in .34, check previous devlogs for those juicy details. The new .35 content will have new scenes path specific. More Mary content (obviously), more Emma content, Indy, Gayll, Evelyn, Emily, and Brenna as we begin the time jump.

At this point I'll have the major announcement ready but .35 has to launch so final testing and confirmation can begin.

Gallery/Replays

On the discord I sent a preview of the fully working and implemented gallery. It's still getting populated with all the scenes but it's gone gold and in .35. If a .34b is released it would be in there too. I am not planning on a .34b unless .35 gets delayed.

Internal Views

Getting implemented slowly as the Gallery populates. The gallery and internal view conflict was finally resolved and needed to get both fully working. Expect full internal view content in .36.
