Devlog #55 - Current Update .33 and .35

Alright, thankfully I've had enough time to actually make a meaningful dent and progress report on where we are at. Despite the struggles with my personal vehicle we've recovered pretty nicely. I was actually pretty surprised at how much we got done in a shortened amount of time.

The new Dark Path Prologue1 content of .33Final

Its done. Can't really add much too that. There's a new special scene in there that fans of this path won't want to miss! I really like it. I think fans of the dark path will be rewarded well for their patience.

What about Prologue .2 content?

I'm about half way through applying the new backend pathing code to .2. I will likely finish tonight but maybe tomorrow. There are a few scenes that need updated but they are not bad and won't take very long.

Wait are you saying you are about to release?

Yes but not today. It'll take me a few week days to finish up. Prologue 2 was more complex but is way easier now with the changes to Prologue 1. What's taking so long is me removing the old backend pathing and verifying the new. So far it's been flawless so I'm pretty happy with it.

Special Scenes?!

There is a new special scene based on the original special scene in Prologue 1 dark path. I completely reshot all of it. It is up to standards but not over-the-top to significantly vary from the older content. It has the feel of the original.

So when's the release coming?

I'm working on that now. It should be within a few days. I'm currently working out all the pathing issues for Prologue 2 and 3 to ensure good gameplay. These are mostly backend coding issues and not content rendering so it should take but a few days.
