Patreon, Paypal, and Concerns | News
Added 2025-08-29 12:25:05 +0000 UTCSo it's no longer a surprise that Paypal, Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, and much of the world are currently driving a censorship force against creators and against humanity in general.
As always, humanity will fight back tooth and nail - but during the fight, we will have to adapt and survive.
Paypal has sadly been closing accounts for 18+ Creators on Patreon, which leaves much of the world outside the US without a way to request payments from Patreon.
Now, Patreon, I believe, is on the side of creators, and I'm sure they could find a way to make direct-deposit bank payments, which would fix all of this for creators... but it's certainly not the easiest or quickest thing to establish.
Should my Paypal get blocked because of the 18+ content on my Patreon; worry not, I'll find a way, and I won't stop creating for this, and I won't stop creating 18+ content as well.
There are TONS of way for us to do it without issues, and away from the eyes of censorship.
Things are looking dire, but humanity will rise up against censorship and oppression, always! β
