Hey folks! After weeks grinding away on commissions, I decided to take some time to make art just for fun. In the middle of it, I started experimenting with some volumes, sticking with that idea of tackling massive pecs. I used a pose I’d already done and went with the Beast, but—yep, you guessed it—I realized I was falling back on that same old generic pose: standing, arms out, chest puffed, the usual. So, I scrapped it and started fresh with a way more dynamic pose for the Beast!I

gotta shout out how much the face construction fundamentals course has been helping me. I’m feeling super confident and even able to create different shapes for my characters. Have you noticed the changes? The faces are so much more expressive, full of volume, and I’m honestly so proud!

But then, I looked back at that initial generic pose… and you know what? It sparked an idea for some upcoming posts!
