To think that no matter the outcome and reasoning, there's no saving the Lands Between from the greed and resentment of all; Marika, the Hornsent, the whole world.

Also the notion Marika and the Hornsent were allies and the betrayal was the crusade. The betrayal was the sealing which happened upon her ascension, everything from that dialogue in the story trailer relates to the events that allowed her to ascend and create the Erdtree and Scadutree
