To be honest, I am glad they didn't mess around with things too much. For me personally the biggest lure in the Remaster is the fact that my friends have not played it, but they have played DS III and they are looking forward to go through the Remaster. This will give me a chance to guide them through a little bit if they need. And also I am looking forward to playing it on PC with mouse and keyboard... Might sound heretical to some people, but I have enjoyed DS III and even DS II on PC with mouse and keyboard more than with a controller :D Even with DSfix, the original Dark Souls is nearly unplayable with mouse and keyboard, I hope that changes.
2018-04-05 03:38:11 +0000 UTCIt's most likely a 'no' that I'll revisit Dark Souls. I hardly touched it since II and didn't even think about it since III. But I am glad they're bringing it forward for those who will be new or haven't experienced it.
