So..who here ever thought the story of Patches might make them sad?
Okay, so it's not that sad. But he is a more interesting character than most give him credit for...
So this is a weird situation - there are two private Prepare to Cry episodes out just for you guys. My last PtC artist (re:dye) dropped off the face of the earth, so I had to go hunting for another. This led me to our new artist, "UndeadChestnut", whose Patches piece inspired the end of this episode.

Some of you guys might even remember this narrative style from a certain Prepare to Cry trailer I made like..4 years ago!

I must admit, when I first encountered Patches, I was infuriated at him for what he did to me. But at the same time... I never could quite kill him. Knowing all this really makes me happy with my decision. Another great video mate. Thank you!!
2017-08-22 19:17:48 +0000 UTCThe way you drove home that final point, the uses of some We are the Souls clips, the comics, and just the sheer force behind the words feels like if suddenly no more PTC are made, it wouldn't be a bad thing. The ending feels like it answers more, explains more then it seems, enough to be a good ending to a series, the closing speech after the Battle won. And who would have thought it'd be Patches to inspire so much [EDIT] I'm such a dingus, didn't even realize until a few hours ago the last couple minutes is mostly from the comic itself. Probably helps to reread something a video is based on if you haven't read that thing fr a month or so
