Time for another one of my bimonthly devlogs. Apologies if it's a little late. I've been roped into doing a lot of things at work, such as preparing for the Halloween party in the office. Literally just god off from there. In any case, here's the report:

You might think that there wasn't much increase in progress from my previous dev log. To answer that question, that'd be yes. However, that doesn't mean I stopped working on it. While in the middle of working on the game, I changed the sequence of events midway than what I originally planned for chapter 2. Something that made more sense. And something that's just better and more impactful in the story. But in return, I had to go back and change the already coded dialogues and script and even scrap some scenes to do so and replace them with the new scenes I had in mind, which I did. And looking at it now, I think the story flows a lot better. In total, I think I at least scrapped around 250 worth of images and 3k worth of text...
The good news is, the game is now 80% done. All the spicy scenes for chapter 2 have been completed, including the script. My plan now would be to reach 100% before November ends, giving enough time for the game to be proofread and edited and for me to add BGM and SFX before release.

Later than I would like, but here we go: I remember the launch of the first devlog I followed, about a few months ago, and the goal for the year was to finish the chapter before the end of this year, and who knew? the game is almost there Even if there is an initial doubt about how the previous version of this chapter was, I will move forward with the feeling that they were changes to improve and that they contributed to the development of the characters and the relationships between them (especially with Lexi), since the terrible disagreements with Fiona and Zoe, even more engagement with good, established interactions with Desiree, Zoe and Lexi, plus, of course, more content with the mysterious Saki (But seriously, there should be more content with Lexi, the lover of my life) Finally, I ask again that you do not exhaust yourself in the development of this chapter, your health and that of the development team must be a priority, even at the cost of the game being postponed for another month, instead of the situation being the opposite 👻
