To refresh ur memory on season 1. There was no solar eclipse, but Admiral Zhao tried making the moon dissappear by killing the moon spirit (one of the koi) to make the waterbenders powerless against his invasion. Princess Yue had to give her life to the moon spirit to save it and bring the moon back. Waterbenders get their power from the moon and firebenders theirs from the sun.

2025-07-28 03:11:59 +0000 UTCI love the episode Bitter Work for both Aang and Zuko. Aang's fighting style has always been to evade and be clever but that won't work with earthbending so Toph gives him a nudge in the right direction lol
