I'm loving the flashbacks, man. There's a lot of time they can cover between OS and AF, and I'm 100% down for it. Malware is such a sick new villain. Not sure who I like more. Him or Khyber, but both rock. I need to see more of both of them.

2025-06-28 22:25:12 +0000 UTCOmniverse’s flashbacks do a really good job of fleshing out some of the stuff that Ben got up to post-OS. We know from the first episode of AF that Ben did at some point get the Omnitrix removed in order to live a normal life, but it’s not like that happened right away, so seeing some misadventures and introducing characters to bring back in the future are really nice. Malware and Khyber are really cool villains and two of the main ones for the (larger 40 episode first) season. This show benefits over the other by having a lot of big bads across the show and sharing season, both old and new. There will also be a lot of villains fished out from OS. It’s really cool seeing aliens now being more integrated with earth, and different species both old and new just out and about. The Kraaho are a pretty neat concept, and we’ll be seeing more of Esther. I do really feel bad for Room being in that heat. It’s hard to tell because he’s very sleek, but he’s actually covered in fur, so between that and the full body armor, he must’ve been drenched in sweat lol. And yes, Pax is a Florauna (Wildvine). We saw some very ones guarding Azmuth’s hideout when we first met him in exile in Secret of the Omnitrix, but it’s nice to meet a civil one. I also just find it funny that Shocksquatch has such a thick Canadian accent because he’s a based off a Sasquatch lol.

2025-06-28 21:53:13 +0000 UTCPax is annoying, but on the plus side, he's not in the series that much. Given a choice, I'd prefer an episode with Prof. Hokestar over him any day.
