Comments

I feel like Garcia was never really appreciated until really late in his career when he was seen as just that "old, grizzled mentor" type to younger QBs, kind of like Josh McCown in the last few years. Except obviously he was better than McCown ever was. He was efficient, accurate, and a pretty good decision maker, but obviously never had the raw talent or athleticism to truly ascend into elite QB status. He was Alex Smith before Alex Smith, and I say that as a true complement. I'd love for him to be my QB coach if I ran a team.

Precisely my friend ;-)

To the point why didn’t Jeff Garcia ever get the respect he deserved?

This video felt more like a life lesson than being a football analysis videos: over simplified or shallow narratives, opinions, and stereotyping are dangerous if we don’t dig deep enough to make sure we make fair and objective judgements.
