Added 2019-12-11 21:16:15 +0000 UTCI don't remember the last time I saw a mid-season trade have such a dramatic effect on one secondary, one defense, or even one team as a whole. To say that the Steelers trading for Minkah Fitzpatrick was "crucial" is an understatement. Without him on the team right now, I wholeheartedly believe that this would be a bottom five team in the NFL - there's just no way around that.
With all of the insanely clutch plays he made, the Steelers would have been SCREWED. Instead, they are in the driver's seat for a Wildcard spot in the playoffs. Well done, Pittsburgh. You just pulled off one of the best trades in NFL history.

Hell, you could argue that even after giving up a first rounder, Pittsburgh STILL won the trade. Insane value.
