I'm monitoring that. If he hits the IR until midseason then obviously Tevin is the guy, but it's still possible that he only misses 2 or 3 games and not 8. I'm sure we'll know more accurate information by the end of this week.

I think that's an okay fear to have. I just think Williams has good value purely from being the primary goal line back in an ultra productive offense. 1,100 total yards and 9 or 10 touchdowns as a floor is still pretty darn good, even if his total ceiling isn't nearly as high as some other guys.

He is someone who I am closely monitoring right now. I remember a few years ago when I had Hunt on my radar and jumped him up SEVERAL rounds over the course of the preseason. Darwin might end up having that same rise for me. I don't think he has the same three down potential that Hunt had, but I think by September we could be looking at him as KC's primary third down back, which both helps him immensely...and to a degree hurts Williams. This backfield is going to make or break a lot of teams this year...whether they are overdrafted or underdrafted.

I still remember that Clowney stiff arm haha. That was nasty. I think Mack is a great straight line runner with really good vision. Not the best lateral agility in space, but it's enough. On inside zone and outside zone, and on tosses, he's great. It's the runs where he has to stop and start multiple times where he can get into trouble a little bit. He really needs to maintain all his momentum to generate any power. He can't just thump people with a two step start like Zeke/Gurley/Mixon can.

Love your analysis Brett, but I think you're off on Marlon Mack the player, I think he's a gifted runner, he may not have the ideal 225lbs running back size but he has burst and power and agility. My two favorite runs of his: the first (his rookie year) Clowney caught him behind the line on a sweep and he stiff-armed him and put him in the dirt and went on for a nice gain. the other was in 2018 again against the Texans when he left Tyron Matthew a crumpled mess on the field after a nasty juke. He's also tough, he played most of his rookie year with a torn labrum but never missed a game. None of the other backs on the roster are close to his production and coupled with the fact they want to run the ball more this year and Luck being banged up he is going to be a steal in the third round. Full disclosure I am a Colts fan and the highlights I picked had nothing to do with disrespecting your favorite team, just a nice coincidence. ;)

Hey Brett. Fantastic video as always and I'm PUMPED the regular season is drawing closer. I have a question about your Henry comments. The general idea I got was that it depends on if he gets the volume or not. But to begin the year he had 10, 18 and 18 attempts and his yardage was 26, 56 and 57 and no TDs. While the 33 carry game after his monster game is obviously an outlier the number of carries he got during his good stretch was similar otherwise (17, 33, 21, 16). I can't help but wonder if there's even more volatility involved in Henry than even volume dependency implies. Or am I missing something vital about the type of carries rather than the number of carries that the box score isn't showing?
