Progress Report | The Judas Ghost - 07/27/2023

Hey Supporters,

I've got two outfits designed. One for Gemma and one for Sienna. I'm currently working on a Sienna and a Gemma scene. Gemma's scene is almost finished. I have a few more renders to do, and then I have to put it into the game. Sienna's scene is picking up momentum.

I am focusing more on The Judas Ghost right now as it's the game I'll be able to actually put on Steam. I don't write these stories to make money, but I do make money so I can write these stories. Once I have a few releases of The Judas Ghost out, I might even up my time more between the two projects.

This is going to be Gemma's pirate outfit. It'll be a cute little scene. Gemma is a sweetheart, she's going to be easy to love.

It 100 degrees outside for a significant portion of most days right now, so I'm having an air conditioning unit installed into my new office because this equipment needs to stay cool. Texas is brutal.

That's all I've got for you today. Progress is steady. Thanks for the support, and stay hydrated!

It's more about risk management at this point. Internally over at Steam and itch.io, what is accepted on their platform is constantly changing. They don't let us know what the new rules are either. It's also random which agent I'm going to get to review my works. They may just not like my content and ban my work forever. I'm trying to minimize risk, and make something that will have the greatest chance of being accepted. Trust me, I hate this. I hate bending the knee to ignorant, power-crazed crusaders. Submitting like this takes a toll on me that people don't even know about. One of my biggest weaknesses is how anti-authority I am. But if I want to continue to create in this market, I have to tailor back the taboo nature of my works. Otherwise, I have to quit and do something else. So I'm swallowing my pride, and just doing my absolute best to make something that has a high probability of being profitable, along side more controversial works that I can't sell anywhere. I can't sell Over the Moon anywhere.

I personally prefer a Moon update. No fan of Judas. We each have our own opinions and preferences.

Hi A question I'm certain you've answered before, but I simpley haven't been able to find your answer to. What (besides artistpc integrity) is preventing you from making your game with the "Landlady" basis version and patching yourself out of the problems with steam etc? I'm aware that they more than likely won't let you get AMOB etc. up, but the next one might?

I'm no simp for capitalism by any stretch, but there ain't nothing wrong with hoping for, or even expecting, a just reward for your work, Lock! And having many routes taken out from under you for a lot of your work... focus on Judas. Us pervs can wait for our Petal (or other) fix. ;-)
