The Judas Ghost | Progress Report - 06/01/2023

Hey Fans!

We're going to start doing a progress report for The Judas Ghost every Thursday. There's about 25 scenes in total so far. I may add one or two more, but I mostly need to spend this month cleaning everything up and getting things ready for release. This is not a kinetic novel, so there's a lot more involved than just creating scenes. 

I'd love to showcase more about the gameplay, but we're still polishing up the mechanics. We have alternative outfits for Judy, however we had to remove one that looked too much like a schoolgirl outfit. It's too risky to have in the game with Steam being so vigilant against anything school related. 

The prologue is finished, and I'm working on the first half of Chapter 1 for the release. There's about two or three scenes left for me to complete, and then I need to go back through and re-write a few scenes. My coder and I are still working on tidying up the roaming and currency systems. We're real close to release.

I'm planning on having scenes I'm calling 'Escalation Scenes'. As you progress with the girls, they'll allow you to go further with them during these scenes. So a massage scene might start off as just a back massage. Then when you come back later to give her another massage, she might wear less for you. Then later, she might let you massage her legs. Every time you play the scene, it will progress to be more and more sexual. I want every girl to have one or two of these progression scenes.

There will be a system where you can buy outfits for the girls which will unlock a sexy scene with them. Currently there's only one outfit to purchase and it's for Cindy. Judy has outfits too, but they don't come with additional scenes. She just wears them whenever you interact with her in her menu, similar to how Suzi's outfits work in A Moment of Bliss.

This is where we are at right now. The first release will mostly be a big beta test. We just want to see how everyone feels about the general mechanics. What people like, what they don't like, and what needs changed. The second release will be all about implementing those changes, and finishing Chapter 1. 

I hope you guys are psyched. The money you guys have given me has gone back into the company. I've spent a significant amount on making this project bigger, better, and sexier than anything I've previously accomplished.
