Back from Fur the More

I've got a lot to do this week, including spending some time on Patreon content. I do want to share a thread I posted on social media today, just because it provides a nice update on how I'm doing and how things are going writing wise.

Being back to work after a con is tiring, but I'm in really good spirits this morning. The last weekend was rather affirming, and I got good news on the way back home.

First, sales at the con went well, and that is always nice to have. I appreciate everyone who stopped by my table and bought a book.

Second, my writing panels went really well, and I think I really nailed the Writing Habits and Staying Productive panel. Surprisingly, I gave the entire panel standing up, which was much different than how I usually do them.

Thirdly, I showed the first chapter to some people at the con, and they really liked it. In addition, on the way home, I got the notes from my editor about what they feel the book needs, and it's all fine tuning stuff at this point. That alone is a huge relief on my mind.

Yes, there's still work to do, but the structure of the book is sound. I now feel much more confident I've executed it successfully. Releasing on the "The Blood of Life" at Anthrocon is now feeling much more certain.

Anyway, I've got to get back to work, but things are looking good writing wise.
