Diane’s goal with this consult was to get some detailed direction on introducing our recommended diet to Indigo. The breeder had weaned the bird pretty young onto an all seed diet.
She also wanted direction on making sure other foundations were in place that would set them up for a great start. We went over some handling issues she was struggling with and discussed being careful to stay consistently inconsistent so that Indigo will learn to roll with life and not have rigid expectations in regards to being out of the cage all the time or specific meal times.

I had my quaker stepping up at 6 mo then I touched his toes and he's now9 mo and still won't step up.
