Syringe Training (1st Sessions!)
Added 2025-02-10 17:10:07 +0000 UTCAs you guys know, since finding out Comet and Tusa have to be on medication for life I've been going through my flock and syringe training them all. This session was with Jinx and Zip who handled it quite differently.

I feel there is a need for a course that is more specific than family friendly courses… Like what should you train first with your new bird…. Regardless of how old it is and his past…. I know there is a lot of variables, but I am sure there is a way to make some kind of guide for pet owner to focus on the right skills…. This is a great tool to have, and we should as bird owners train it before we need it! Have started all my flock on it today… will see what happens…. Thanks for sharing

2025-02-11 04:21:25 +0000 UTCI wish I had started syringe training my teils when I got them cause now they are on meds and they are afraid of it. What would you do in that case. They are trained to let me towel them.
