I'm just now "catching up" with emails. The opportunities at Dallas Parrots makes me wish that I lived closer. (I'm in PA.) What a wonderful partnership for both Dallas Parrots and BirdTricks!! Hopefully, this is the first step in BirdTricks making more such collaborations as they strive to "save one parrot at a time."

2024-12-15 01:45:32 +0000 UTCIt’s a store I’ve been to in the past once or twice, and about 6 months ago when I visited I was pleasantly surprised at all the changes I’d seen since my last visit (no dowel perching being sold for example) and got to chatting with the owner about what I do. Their daughter loves Birdtricks and was on board with us helping right away! Super sweet family run company. The changes will take some time, and they know it’s a process since it’s not JUST family that works there..but they’re all excited to put in the work :)

They are big on offering the best foods, keeping birds fully flighted, and training parrots. They already have a partnership with the Parrot Wizard. They also take calls from customers regarding questions and concerns people have.

Can I ask how this partnership was initiated? Is this a store you frequent and had a relationship to prior to this? Did they approach you or vice versa? Either way sup is exiting stuff. Hope to see more stores across the states do the same.
