Added 2025-03-20 23:32:23 +0000 UTCman, I am just overthinking lol, so variation in my case is when I have to make a sfw and nsfw variant of the same piece so I can make more by doing less and the problem here is... I have to draw, like for example, I make clothed version first and if I were to make a new variation, I just can't remove the cloth and be just that, that's boring so I wanted to make some change maybe on hand position or what the character is doing but by doing this, I have to draw another one...
well, that's where I was wrong because I just realized, looking at my artist oshi, when they make variants of their art, they don't fully make a new piece but instead, they just change what has to be change so I tried it and... well, it's so damn easy
just draw over the original lines and put the change there, be mindful of the connection of materials and make them act accordingly to the changes, for example, I have an original line that is clothed and maybe I want a variant of that as flashing, on that, I need an interaction with the new hands and cloth, I have to know how would the cloth interact with the new tension of the hand moving it and also with the body physics since it is out, it is now not restricted by cloth so maybe in this version, it will be more saggy and if not, well, that's up for you
