I hate earwigs too :( One time I cut open a delicious peach and a bunch crawled out and I couldn't eat peaches for a year. :(

2017-09-26 14:33:34 +0000 UTCMy mailbox post was infested with those earwigs. I did not realize it until my mail started coming with earwigs with it. I had to pour dishwater to flush out the earwigs and drown them at the same time.

Also, I had an intense dream about coyote last night in which he ate god? Also it turned out Annie had been murdered by her dad before the story began. 🤷🏽♀️

I used to live in a ground-level apartment with a patio door to the outside - no one had lived there in a while and when I opened the door for the first time, a whole nest of earwigs spilled out from the crack along the wall. I grew a little more used to them, since the battle to exterminate them lasted most of the summer, but they are still so creepy...

2017-09-25 17:25:52 +0000 UTCI intensely dislike earwigs as well, although I have no problem at all with most other insects or arachnids. I had a large number swarm out of a head of lettuce I picked from our garden as a young child, which freaked me out.
