I have the same criteria for horror! It makes it tough to find stuff I actually want to watch though. I empathize.

Ah man, me too! I strongly believe that the Horror Genre encourages some of the best storytelling and has the most original ideas, because it's trying to elicit a very specific response from the audience. The best ones follow you out of the theater and hang over your head for months!
Have you seen the Babadook? Or Silver Bullet? Any plans to see "It"?

Ha. I loved Blair Witch Project. I ended up watching it completely alone in a theater, and came out desperate to know if it was real or fiction. Ah the age where the internet wasn't in your pocket... or even all that good.

I like the camerawork, myself. I think my shots would be pretty unsteady in their situation too!
