Wolf Guard on the run! (Public Post)

"人狼 逃亡する!" (Jinrō tōbō suru!) "The werewolf is fleeing!"

The young Canid smiled to himself as he raced through the city streets in a newly stolen car, remembering the alarms blaring and that announcement coming over the secure site's loud-speakers as he made a prudent exit of the facility after getting knocked out by the high profile prisoner escaping the facility just ahead of him. "Werewolf, Ha!" He sneered to himself, "fucking racist humans!"

He had just detected the scent of the prisoner, although surprisingly, he had heard nothing. He was about to turn around to confront him when he instead found himself waking up flat on his back on the metal floor in his underwear - uniform, boots, and weapon all gone. Well, Kalen and especially Kwan were not known for being especially forgiving and so the young Wolf Guard decided it was time to find employment elsewhere.

The prisoner's scent was easy enough to follow, up through the cybertrain station, across the tracks, and to the skyway towards the spaceport. He stopped briefly at a clothing shop to quickly pick up something more substantial to wear - only the doorway to the skyway was fused shut from the opposite side when he got there. Crap!

So, the Canid alien hopped back across the tracks, narrowly avoiding an incoming train, back down the escalator, down an an elevator shaft without bothering to wait for the elevator after forcing the elevator doors open, and then finally out into an alleyway where he quickly found a convenient car to get him to the far side of the spaceport.

"I know of a ship that will be taking off soon - gonna try and be aboard that!"

"C'mon, c'mon!" he fumbled with a pair of bare wires that he had fished out from behind the panel he forcibly removed after breaking into a likely fast-looking vehicle. A spark and the car's engine rumbled to life. "Yeah!" and so he was off!

Just about to his goal, a passing car going the other direction suddenly snapped on the red ground light and the flashing blue and red lights of the municipal police. "Shit!" The Canid's car careened around two other cars in response to his super-human reflexes naturally far better than human and honed by intense training as the young Canid headed up an on-ramp and the police car skidded in a wide circular arc attempting to turn onto the same ramp from the opposite direction. The Wolf Guard noticed a message keypad that the owner had installed in this vehicle (as wags sometimes did) and he typed out a quick message to the police car that skidded by behind him as it missed the ramp entrance. He also stuck his arm out the window and waved to the police officer as he sped up the ramp and away into the night.
