MAJOR RESTRUCTURING IN PROGRESS

As I previously announced, I have had posts removed due to supposed "Community Guidelines" violations. I knew this would happen eventually as Patreon is known to be homophobic anti-LGBTQIA+, particularly towards gay male homoerotic artwork. However, the image that was flagged was entirely within their stated guidelines, which is why I have chosen to immediately discontinue all NSFW content entirely and remove all such past content rather than try to fight what would inevitably be a losing battle.

I will also be removing the lowest tier level "Superhero Supporter" and reducing the monthly price of the other three tiers to reflect the fact that I can no longer deliver the NSFW benefits that I had promised. Since Patreon will not allow me to reduce the price of a tier unless I switch to their "Subscription Billing Model" I will probably do this tomorrow (October 27th, 2024). I am being forced by Patreon to switch to this type of billing on November 1st anyway, but by switching early, I hope to avoid the mess of trying to compensate any of you for over-charging for benefits that I can no longer offer. I have already unpublished all of my support tiers except for the free tier to prevent anyone new from joining until I have had a chance to figure this all out.

My current plan is to reduce tier 2 "Superhero-in-training" from $6 to $3 monthly, tier 3 "Fully Superhuman" from $9 to $6 monthly, and tier 4 "Elite Superhuman God" from $15 to $9 monthly (all amounts in USD).

I have already removed 950+ posts in the first wave of clean-up and there will likely be more as I search for posts that I did not adequately label or that malcontents with nothing better to do than find and report what they deem offensive to Patreon - whether they violate the "Community Guidelines" or not - continue to scour my posts for something to complain about.

Judge for yourselves, if you are interested. The SFW versions are public and the flagged image is called "Car Heist" originally published on June 17th. Of course the NSFW version is already gone, but the only difference is that the principal figures were nude in that post. The image was flagged for "Sexually Gratifying Works" - which Patreon apparently interprets as simple nudity as the two nude figures were separated by 10 feet and were not, in fact, even looking at one another. The "Community Guidelines" are deliberately vague so that Patreon can flag whatever they choose and then hide behind that ambiguity. It has been clear for some time that they do not want the kind of content that I create here.

I find it revealing and alarming that my previous post announcing the fact of these posts' removal was deleted by Patreon without notification sometime earlier today. Must've struck a nerve. It is entirely possible given that attitude from them and that kind of unwarranted action that this could be my last post and that I might be banned.

I certainly hope not! I hope to be able to continue to create something that all of you find worthwhile and enjoy seeing each week - within the parameters (increasingly Draconian though they may be) that Patreon has set.
