Interesting! Looks almost a little comical to see two big diesel locos hauling a single carriage between them. Over here in Perth, we had a maintenance train (which we called the Infrastructure Diagnostic Vehicle, or IDV, or "The Banana") very similar to the NSW vehicles in the video, until it very publicly caught fire on a bridge near the city last year. No one was injured and it's now still hiding under a tarp in one of the depots.
