The Barovian Ankheg Nest: FREE MAP

You know what I noticed? The single map releases give me the wonderful opportunity to build the small points of interest on the Barovia map. So I'll just start on the right with the Ankheg Nest! This doesn't have to be an Ankheg Nest though. It could also be spiders, other insects, or a purple worm. No matter what, your players will hate it!

The cave was designed in such a way that it was originally used by fishermen who stored their boats there in the dry and gutted the fish. This went well until something was attracted by the smell of fish. This simple detail provides several cool story hooks.
