Gothic Commission build:

Greetings, hope you're all still conquering the new year with powerful habits and persistent growth deserving of success. It matters not how loud the antagonizing voices of oppression echoes through the mind, we ought not fall victim to vices that draw us towards the ever-present suggestibility of discourse that tempts us always from achieving our true potential. Stay mindful, and steady your posture. You owe it to yourself to actualize your aspirations with a yield that makes a difference in your corner of the world. "Nature loves courage…".

The Commission:

I'm going to work on a Conquest baseline today that will emphasize an older architectural style that stood the test of time. Despite the dark connotations attached to Gothic constructs, its incredibly beauty is honestly undeniable and apparent. Reasons have been offered as to why we don't build in this particular style anymore, some sensible, others controversial and superstitious.

Though personal interpretation is more favorable in contrast with consensus in my opinion, the history that stems from the preservation of fallen empires will always be met by conjecture open to new and sometimes biased interpretation. However so, these buildings carry a signature that reminds us of how sophisticated we once were in bygone ages when observing the remarkable craftsmanship of the Romanesque and the Gothic.

I'm aware that some posit the idea that we are currently in a regression in terms of how we construct our buildings. But regardless of such a view, we are still very much capable of working stone to an appreciable degree, embellishments and statuary included. If reason furnish the idea of resources being scares or cost ranging in the millions to erect such buildings (residential or otherwise), I still don't see why our acceptance to such opinions are so readily prompted by a community that once appreciated the towering spires of a graceful Cathedral looming in the distance. I truly hope that our interest in aged architecture goes beyond the reconstruction or revival of remnants almost lost to history.

Updates:

I'll keep you guys updated on my progress, often uploading a screenshot for criticism, or input that can be applied to the build from your perspective. This commission will be open to all paid members, so it won't be a selective product destined exclusively for the commissioner. I'm not sure how expansive the build will be, so determining a timeframe is somewhat blurry at the moment.

Thanks a million for your support and feedback. It really means the world to me! (^_*)/
