Note: There won't be a patch release today. We have fixed some bugs but it's only a small number. The bugfixes are included in the prerelease build though.
Before I dive into the new content of this week, I want to start with the technical side, as there are quite a few instability sources in this week's prerelease build. Trihan has made further progress on translations, working to enable our RPGMaker extensions to draw their texts from external text sources (the translations files in languages/). Generating these files and processing them has required quite some code refactorings, so it's possible some features might have become unstable (like the colored names as I found at as I am writing this post).
Also there is a random German option in the options with only a couple random things translated, so don't be surprised about that. :'D
Now, new content!
After about 3/4 of a year of no new h-scenes as we had to wrap up the 1.0 release, we can finally begin the production of a new cycle of h-scenes! It's also nearly been 4 years since I wrote the Maid Job 1 & 2 scenes, so working on this has been pretty nostlagic.
Those who had been looking forward to not only the Maid Job but also mentioned to also to the potential Project B focusing on memory manipulation have double the reason to rejoice, as the scene also features (as one part) an active memory manipulation component for rewriting Aura's memories of her first experiences during the first Maid Job.

Arwin will now make Aura an offer the help out at the mansion to prepare for the Festival Day. This will ultimately become a 3-Day event where Aura will be working full time at Arwin's mansion. A day here has the following structure:
A minor starting cut scene before or while Aura does some scheduled work
Maid Brainwashing H-Scene
Free Work Slot
I have implemented the first full day this week, including both the new h-scene as well as some first options on what Aura can do in the "Free Work Slot". Here you can mess with the people later appearing at the Festival and make future fights easier for yourself.
Remember the tough Slime Summoner?

Well, he's not going to be so tough to take down after his defenses plummet to nothing because of a botched massage. As of now, you can do the following actions:
Sabotage Slime Summoner via botched massage (and also get a 3k Perika Check as a reward)
Mess with Arwin's concentration pills, messing up is ability to cast his slime at full power (It gets summoned with the WEAKENED state)
Not really an action, but you can also early fight the Venom Scorpio so that's out of the way before the Festival
Also, you can see in the bottom right a new mini-system: "Performance". It's essentially the same a mix of the Trust mechanic for the Demon Worshipper Underground and the Maid Score mechanic for the Maid Academy.
It is measures how convincing Aura's peformance as a brainwashed maid has been by "pretending" to be fully under the influence of Sweet Memories, Aura can raise the performance score, which currently gives early access to Arwin's Cellar.
NOTE: Since only the first day has been implemented, reaching the necessary Performance for entering Arwin's Cellar is extremely specific! You need to:
Start Maid Job 3 in Pink (Otherwise Arwin will find Aura's lack of enthusiasm slightly suspicious, reducing performance by 5)
Don't resist Arwin in Maid Job 3
This will give you 70 Performance. Otherwise, you would need to spend a day doing some cleaning activities to further raise your Performance, but since the second day will just send you to the Clear Room, you wouldn't be able to enter the cellar.
MORE NOTES: The new Maid Job scene makes use of the existing CGs, which however require new variations. I have commissioned them from our artist today but don't be surprised if the text and images aren't matching up in the second half as I don't have the CG variations for them yet. If you want to read the scene with them in the game, I recommend waiting a bit more.

For those who enjoy to role-play as Detective Aura, you can also gather various compendium information on enemy skill sets. E.g. talking to the demon worshippers around the Slime Summoner reveals the starting elements of his summoned slimes.
Finally, I am trying out a minor balancing change: Going to the Festival will no longer end the current day. I have some doubts about this one, because the mandatory save slot will be further in the past when the Festival actually starts, but since the 1.1.0 release is quite some months in the future, I think now is the time to test it out in the prerelease builds.
Aaaaand that's it for the week! Next week, will be working on the first NG- items and also most likely integrate the CG variations for Maid Job 3. Our artist also delivered the H-CG variations for the third and currently last alt-Earth clothing (Slutty Leopard), but I didn't have the time yet to integrate them, so that will also be another item for next week. (And probably there will be a bunch of redeploys of the current prerelease build due to potential instability issues mentioned in the beginning from the translation support features)
