Short Description:
Finally, with diligence and commitment, my sketched out design is finally raised from the ground in a beautiful survival setting. As with my previous three builds, I tried to measure the scale into a manageable size while applying as much detail and complexity as possible within a comfortable size.
Large builds, aside from community structures, can be overwhelming for a new inhabitant. Walls can feel too expansive, spaces are too objectively minimalistic, and the walk duration from point to point feels too exhausting. Another problem frequently asserting itself on large builds is undoubtedly the radius of light dispersion. Which, overused or otherwise, can seriously cripple the visual fidelity of a beautiful structure.
This build however, mends those issues without a conflicting juxtaposition towards the older proponents of this building style. Large spaces feels full and purposeful, distances between points of significance are narrower, vertical and horizontal convergence maintains a visual continuity of beauty in the distance, clutter balanced between being too overwhelming or empty, raised and lowered geography for a displaced effect, light placement that balances mob activity and safety (you can't play Snakes and Ladders without the snakes), and virtually ALL functional blocks present for a survival journeyman.
