"I have been most persuasive," Kalen continued but the man raised one hand and Kalen fell silent.
"This was not unexpected," the man said, "Let's just have another friendly little chat with him and see if we can't bring him round."
Kalen nodded and the man continued, "What about his partner?"
"Escaped, unfortunately," Kalen responded glumly, "slippery bastard."
The older man nodded, "No matter. We'll reel him in soon enough as well."

No, you didn't miss anything - so don't worry! I have been working on multiple projects concurrently and I haven't filled in any details between the truck chase and the captured series. I may or may not do a specific episode showing his capture. As much as I love the Dmitri & Eric story, I don't want that to be my only offering! đ The way I come up with scenes is more episodic - a scene idea will often flash into my mind or I may have a cool new asset that I got for Daz3D that I want to try out. This series was one of the 'flashed into my mind' variety - and my mind has been playing out the whole scenario up to Dmitri's inevitable escape or rescue. I'll get back to them shortly - but I've got something to do for the holidays first! đ
