Come Back To Me

"Time to leave!" They came together, lips almost touching, but they hesitated for a moment. "Come back to me," he said, and then they kissed passionately.

Yes. I keep having these distracting dream-like thoughts in my imagination surrounding this series: I imagine the two of them each flying off in a different direction on those hovercycles you can see in the background (each one is specifically assigned to Dmitri or Eric, actually) and then the music swells as you see shots of one and then the other as they fly over, in, and around the massive dystopian world-city. It's almost as if I am struggling to remember the details of a movie that I know I saw a long time ago.

Media tends to lead a trend move and I remember movies of death and mayhem making the rounds every weekend at the movies, and novels and TV shows were instrumental. One of my main draws to Guardians of the Galaxy is the damn soundtrack!!! Rocks me OUT !!! And the visuals to the music is unforgettable.

Right - although for ME the two are inextricably linked now. I didn't listen to *only* those two songs, but they represented something I've been missing lately. I think the exposure to that Eighty's Music Vibe made a connection. There is something desperately lonely in much of the pop music of the 80's - an equal mix of excitement for and fear of the future. Dystopia.

It was fine and exciting to include a link to the music. I was thinking Cyberpunk but got 80's The Right Stuff music, with slash guitars and everything!!! But::: I have to realize that this is what Caused your inspiration, not necessarily a soundtrack to the actual images. Right?

S Munson

I'm glad you liked it! So, was it just too weird having me try to assign a soundtrack to the images? Distracting? Or just didn't like that track?

Pratev

Bravo! {except for the musical interlude}
