First Patron Poll!

Hey Patrons!

Good news! We have unlocked the Patron Poll milestone! We crossed the threshold a few days ago, so thank you all so much for contributing!

This means I will occasionally post polls on this Patreon page and you all get to vote on what I will work on next.

I've got a few projects to wrap up over the next month so whatever you decide won't be happening right away, but I want to say that whatever you pick, I'll be publishing it by the end of the year. Not sure how often I will do these polls, but so long as we maintain the goal, I'll be posting them when I have a gap in my schedule.

I've got a lot of TTRPGs, supplements, etc. on the back burner, but I wanted to start off with 3 that I'm excited about, and some are almost complete already. You should see the options in the poll below, but I'll detail them in this post.

Big Shiny Scores 1 - Null Ravers and Ragers

This is a supplement for the Slugblaster RPG (which finally released recently, check it out!) featuring four runs complete with complications, NPCs, slams, everything you need to run an adventure in that system. This is the project that is furthest along. I have a prototype already finished, all I would need to do is put it in layout, do some graphic design and a cover and it's good to go. It'll be around 12 pages total.

D&D Blades in the Dark

This has been an ongoing project for a while. The basic premise is: can I convert D&D into the Blades in the Dark system without changing too much of either. Its the open world fantasy but make it Forged in the Dark thing that everyone and their mom seems to want. I've gotten most of the character classes finished, a rest system I'm happy with, and a few other details like character conversion. This is likely the beefiest project and I don't think it'll be much more than an ashcan version if I want to finish it this year (ashcan means it'll just be basic text on a page without much embellishment). We're looking at dozens of pages at least.

Stiletto: Single Player Blades in the Dark

This came to me as a sort of vision one day. What if you took the incredible world of Doskvol (the setting of Blades in the Dark) and made a game about just trying to survive in that city, keeping all the plates of your job, family, and random complications spinning for as long as possible. I think I might have been influenced by the video game Citizen Sleeper, which does some interesting things to make a single player experience work with a system inspired by Blades in the Dark. This is the project I've done the least amount of work on. It's basically just a collection of notes right now but I'm very excited to see where it goes. No idea how big it will be, all I kow for sure is that I can't charge money for it, since it would need to use the Blades IP which is explicitly not part of that game's creative commons license. It'll essentially be fan fic.

And that's it! The poll will last until the end of the month, at which time I'll announce which option won and what I'll be working on. And of course, as with all my self-published work, you'll all get access to the finished project, at no extra cost.

Thank you all so much for helping me reach this milestone. I'm incredibly excited to see what you all pick!

- Michael
