Hey folks,
So I decided to join another game jam at itch.io, This time its the Mapemounde game jam, all focused on using maps as part of the game's design. The theme of this year's jam is "A game in which the map portions belong to different ages.”
I've always had a fascination with the far future of the universe. How our planet will change, how our sun will expand and die, y'know cheery stuff. So I decided to apply that fascination a map-making RPG called One Trillion Years. It's for 1-4 players, and each player represents part of the human diaspora as it moves through time and space. Players work together to survive the obstacles of each era and play out scenes from humanity's legacy.
The submission window for games is in 5 days, so I'll be finishing this one before Spooky Action at a Distance. Patrons at $5 tiers will get access to both games when they're completed.
I'll be changing up how this patreon works pretty soon, to reflect the fact that I'll be releasing small and large RPGs in the future. More details about that later.
Hope y'all are well.
