Patreon Billing Update
Added 2024-08-12 16:46:33 +0000 UTCIf you've not seen the recent news trending on social media, Apple is forcing Patreon creators to swallow their in-app purchase fee of 30%, meaning all purchases made through their app store (including Patreon subscriptions) will either have to increase their prices, or lose 30% of their income on subscriptions made through the Patreon app.
On that note, please DO NOT continue your Patreon payments through the app. Please use the website (via a browser on mobile/desktop) to set up payments. That way, no one involved has to lose out on money, and Apple can go kick rocks.
