Quick Update!

Hey everyone!
I've been keeping an eye on the feedback from the survey and a couple things have come up that I should clear up. I figured I should do a quick update before the end of the month.
-
- First - Thanks to everyone that filled out the survey. Thanks for the positive feedback, I appreciate it.
Also, there have been some great miniature suggestions I'll be keeping in mind as I brainstorm future projects!
- For those asking, I have a Discord server for the community to chat, share prints/paint jobs, etc. This post is linked to that server!
Also, people are sharing their entries for the painting contest on here. We've got some talented folks in the community!
- I've had some people ask support questions in the survey. I actually have no way to respond to you or help you through the survey.
So if you're having an issue with my files, send me a message on Patreon or drop a message in the help channel on the Discord. If it's something I can fix on my end, I'll try to get to it ASAP.
- Uhhh, it always seems weird to clear this one up. Comet Lord Miniatures isn't a collective of sculptors or a studio. 'Scotty Deez Miniz' just didn't have the same ring to it.
It's just myself running the show and I have my partner doing the supports. Me being the bottleneck for Comet Lord Miniatures is the main reason the smaller releases compared to all the studios, partnerships, etc. out there.
- For the DM that has graced their D&D world with my celestial corpse floating in the Astral Sea... Thanks, haha.
For the party that defeated my avatar, I will have my vengeance.

Regarding 'The Comet Colossus' specifically.
- Compare your printer plate size/print volume to the Elegoo Mars 2 Pro. I built it around fitting on that printer as it is my workhorse for test printing everything. I wanted it to fit on something smaller than an Elegoo Saturn for example, as I imagine many people in the hobby don't have printers that size.
- On that note, it can still hold miniatures on it if you scale it down 20%. I have not and will not be testing the presupports with the scale reduction. But, you can keep in mind reducing the scale of the colossus up to 20% when looking at your printer build volume.
- Pleeeeeease keep in mind that a project like this will take quite a bit of work. Green stuff, resin, sandpaper, model knife, glue, clippers, etc, etc, etc. It's not an easy project to put together, but I tried to have it set up so the warping from printing or the supports doesn't cascade through the build.

What survey? Where is this all coming from?
I've got a survey that is live right now. Fill it out if you want to help me figure out where to go with Comet Lord Miniatures in the future. I'd appreciate it!
