May 2025: financial report; head anatomy progress

It's time for another newsletter! This one is an important one, containing a financial report for 2024 and narrative of the sorts of work we performed throughout the year. You'll recognize many of the project activities mentioned, and now, we're taking a moment to zoom out and put everything in context. This was a really fun article for me to write because, looking back, ...seriously, wow, we really did get a lot of progress in 2024. It's freaking awesome.
Super quick financial summary - on revenues of $235K and expenses of $13K, we had a net income of $222K, and ended 2024 with $254K in cash. Many more details inside!

Second article is a quick check-in with how the head anatomy video series is progressing. We're deep into drawing technical illustrations, and this article walks through an example of why those illustrations are so important for these videos in particular. Diagrams like the example given make it possible to make informed decisions about the manipulations we actually pursue, taking into account the surrounding tissue context.
