October newsletter
Added 2022-11-01 01:49:59 +0000 UTCTime now for our October newsletter! This month has been a busy one for all of us but we still managed to get it in on time (barely, shh!) thanks to some smooth coordination and contributions by Ellie, Serathin, Lathreas, and Hyper!
In this issue:
- Lathreas - Lots of work getting done on the Anatomy Re-engineering Framework project. Main focus this time is on improving code quality and maintainability. Maybe less 'sexy' than some other updates (at least, less 'sexy' for the average viewer :P), but essential to usable code. Also, we've added functionality for modeling bone tubercles!
- Serathin - Financial update including a surprise $10k donation earlier this month. We've been succeeding at reducing administrative expenses and are really excited to put more and more into research.
- Ellie - Public outreach update, talking about social media updates, how we're interacting with stakeholders and continuing to earn trust, and what we're thinking about for the future.
- Hyper - Introduction for a new volunteer that just joined this past summer, moderating and putting together some great events for us!
