I want to share with you my eye painting process! I feel like eyes make or break a suit, its the first thing most people look at! It's human nature to look into eyes- so you want to make a good first impression!
Step 1-
Trace the iris shape of your eyes onto your mesh fabric. Next, paint a thin layer of base color of your eye! Make sure that your paint is NOT runny or too thick, you don't want to block the tiny holes for vision. Keep building up the color, allowing for each layer to dry fully, until you reach an opaque color!
Step2-
Mix a lighter shade of your base color and slowly create an ombre effect by blending back and forth! This will add more dimension and depth to your eyes!
Step 3-
Grab a piece of paper and trace your iris shape onto the paper. Then, cut out your desired pupil shape, this will act as a stencil for your eyes, ensuring that they will be symmetrical!
Step 4-
Using the paper stencil, paint your pupil! Once again make sure to build up the layers slowly!
Step 5-
Now that the base is done you can go crazy with the details! For me, to create another layer of depth, I add some glitter! This adds movement to the eyes! And i create a eye shine with white gel pens to get the best precision.
