Kingmaker as introduced in a Solo Wargame | Everlasting Diary #1

Let me tell you about Kingmaker: The Last War and how it relates to Kingmaker: Everlasting by showing you a Wargame I ran for a solo player that played in the first campaign, and only plays solo in the second campaign!

Next video I'll introduce you to the party and the outline for a level 1 to 20 campaign that's designed to last for years!

I do all of those things! In this Kingmaker campaign, too! So, I'll dive deep into it in future Diary episodes. Though I'm sure I'll eventually make a proper Mystic Arts video on it too, when I know what kind of advice I could give!

Great video, I love to hear about different types of RPGing. You mention you run a lot of solo sessions, maybe a video sometime, discussing the art of solo play. Also do you ever run adventures for small groups like 2 or 3 players. I did recently, I created an adventure then ran it for 2 different groups of two friends. It was a lot of fun!

hi Dadi. this is not related to a video, but i seek your wisdom ohh mighty master of the Mystic Arts. im preping a hexcrawl but instead of a frontier town serving as a base its supposed to be focused solely on travel, caravan serving as moving "base". There are multiple regions to explore each with their own politics, factions and threats. i havent found anyone doing something like this and i would like to get an advice. This is also a first time running a hexcrawl too. the reason is that while having a domain in a frontier sounds great, i want them to be more involved with a political situation of nations across the continent while also being able to explore wilderness do dungeons and hunt epic monsters for the arcane forge. im a little bit torn about this idea as i can see the advantages and disadvantages of owning a domain but i cant really compare it to my idea. i believe you probably tried something similar and therefore can provide me with your insights and warnings on potential pitfalls. on another note. did you ever thought about doing a series about reviewing other peoples campaigns? maybe people would be into sharing their campaign ideas.
