"Upon the Garden Steps" Narrative Oil Study
Added 2024-01-27 22:49:06 +0000 UTCFor majority of January, I dedicated most of my time to a complete 18x24" oil painting in preparation for a showcase early next month, though I'm not highly satisfied by the results...I suppose I should be thankful it revealed several gaps in my abilities, but I wish I could've completed it sooner to apply the lesson to a different piece rather than indefinitely attempt to correct mistakes; for my own sanity and satisfaction, I need to paint at smaller scales to avoid another arduous, month-long commitment, for the faster one fails and iterates, the faster they'll improve (if the proper procedure's maintained, naturally).
