試合の翌日、岩崎の姿はテニスサークルから消え、部室には退部届が残されていた。
サークルのメンバーたちは岩崎の突然の退部に困惑したが次第にそれも部員の記憶からは薄れていった。
2週間後、松下と青山は付き合い始めた。
サークルのみんなは祝福ムードに包まれたが、青山の心のどこかに引っかかりが残っていた。
1ヶ月後、青山は偶然街で岩崎を見かけた。声をかけようとしたが、岩崎は彼に気づくと慌てて逃げるように立ち去った。青山には、その理由が分からなかった。
松下との関係は順調はその後も順調であるが、時折、青山は岩崎の、最後の悲しげな表情を思い出すのであった。

Ms Iwasaki may have been blinded by love, which does indeed happen. The young often do foolish things. Ms Iwasaki paid the price she completely lost the boy and took a terrible beating. When the fight was over was she able to walk out or did she have to be carried? After the beating she took I am guessing she was carried out. I must say that I did really enjoy this story, fighting for love, against the odds, it is one of my favorites of your stories. I have followed your work on pixiv for several years. I could only wish they had fought in in bikini's.

Besides she was dumb, fighting a bigger, older girl, who probably had more experience. The odds were against her from the start.
